Would require an immense amount of timing, luck, and subterfuge. Does masterchief have these skills? You can find out in Mastercheif vs SuperCommander pay-per-view, only 29.99 monthly for the "what-if-scenario" channel pack. Halo vs SuperCommander is coming on 8e/7c Sunday night. Thats right ... [quote who="SageWon" reply="6" id="2394163"] a new capital ship.... now thats good news. No. I bet what you see, is where you build the new "Envoy cruiser". I bet it will be expensive. It will cost as much as a capital ship, and will probably require fleet research like capital ships do. And it may have abilities, etc. But I am just guessing. So thats what it probably means. I believe them, when they say there isn't a new "capital ship"

I noticed there's a new capital ship on the bottom right of the first image. Hopefully, this means that there will be a few new ships other then the diplomatic cruiser to make me feel happier while you fools try to negotiate with my Superdreadnoughts? Pretty please with double whipped cream and cherries on top?

Got to love the Internet :) Greatest invention of the 20th Century, now an outlet for porn and people who hate each other who've never met :p Although I have to say, while I don't even partially dislike most feminists, I do hate the extremely vocal portion of them. You know what, they made a game that offends women (although how I don't know...). Suck it up Nancy. No matter what they do, they're going to offend someone (unless its targetted against white Christian males, because appar

No one where I live is home schooled (except for some really rich guy who lives in a remake of freaking Montechello), but there's a bunch of private schools, so we have tons of people to laugh at, becuase we beat the crap out of all the other schools in the state. I used to try and use LFs like that, now I just use HCs to guard important choke points, and if the enemy attacks one of my worlds, I go and tear up his economy from the inside. If they continue to attack, while, thats why you have the big red button. My friends still haven't figured out not to get to close. Or they haven't figured out that I'm batshit crazy :)

Gotta say, I'm kind of disappionted with whoever made this story. Nicholas Cage usually makes good movies (Con Air, Nat Treasure 1), but this made no sense. So, some kind of alien race/ god knew of a super solar flare that was going to kill us all, and decided that it wasn't worth saving our planet, so he took children, put them on ships, and took them to another world, while every being on our creature on our world died. Was there a point to this? I thought the movie was okay until nearing t

Stargate SG-1, all the way/ While Atlantis was good, it wasn't up to the pre season 7ish episodes. While I liked Ben Browder, I think they were kind of running out of ideas near the end of the show. Can't wait till Stargate Universe comes out, hope its good.

Only reason that worked in SupCom is becuase you can build huge armies, alot of units die fast, and you don't really have alimit on how much resources you can get. Build enough Mass Fabricators and Power Generatiors and you can pump out units as fast as you please.

I prefer to use TEC starbases less as a weapons platform, and more as a huge, heavily armored, fighter base that has the ability to blow up half the enemies fleet with it. I rarely go for weapons or armor, and only if I have left over spots from my other upgrades and tons of spare money. I place it in the middle of a ball of defensive turrets and hanger bays, and let my fighters and bombers do the talking for me.

There is a reason for that. While Barren worlds and dwarf planets might be useful for making a map of the solar system, they have pretty much no other use. It would cost a huge amount of resources and time to terraform a barren world, and a dwarf planet would probably be to small to be useful.

[quote who="Legourou" reply="5" id="2312116"] When will the human civilzation end? That's the real question. In all reality, a big comet would not kill everyone. We would still be humans, just what comes out of the dust in the hundred years following that huge collision is subject to change from Human. Who knows what we would have become, but we wouldn't be extinct. Also, our mitochondrial DNA suggests that we have survived a super volcano eruption in the past. Just about 10k

I think if you made a starship, it definitly wouldn't be made from a starbase, since the largest ship a starbase builds is a Cruiser... However, I think the idea has merit. But if you did, I'd want them to be a rareity. So expensive that you either have to forgo making a fleet to get a ship that might or might not save you in the long, or trust that the enemy won't build one on small maps. While I think Dolynick took a large step in this direction with the Asgard and Ancient super-shi
