if it werent for asking questions or expressing opinions you'd be pretty damned dumb bye now
erhmm, not really, questions are for the things that you can not reshearch for yourself, there is very little in the world you can not figure out by doing a little reshearch and think for yourself. Edit and opinions are meaningless as they are just ... opinions
Yes, on each of your fleets click on the tactics managment icon and then right click fleet management and you wont see the spinning thingy anymore indicating that auto fleet join is turned off. Simple, no modding what so ever.
how does this make new ships not have auto join fleet enabled when built.
This is a serious question for Sins players who are more experienced than myself. Considering that the AI apparently abuses the diplomacy system, that the "missions" system is a bit silly and unreasonable in the early game, and that it's overall a bit wonky and unsatisfying, is there ever a good reason to play single-player games with anything but locked teams?
a greater challenge
right?
hopefully
tbh, this is really irritating. All ships should have it disabled when built, if iwant a fleet illl bloody well do it myself!
Is this a glitch or do phase stabilizers only work after ships leave and return to the planet it is built?
hmm, that sounds like a legit bug. mail the savegame to SD support ( remember to include the time in the game where they can see it)
Um I meant as in a defense fleet... the small one that I need 3 of? BTW do you use dominas for the repair ability only (needs 6 labs to get that)?
yes the small one, thats 1257 supply out of 2000 leaving a large offeciv one ( remember you can go waaaaaay above 2000 supply as advent--> domination is funny. My record is 4500supply /flex) and the reason i use dominas is twofold 1. their repair/heal has a sec
. I was FFA and i was basically ignoring what ever missions the AI gave me since most of them weren't going to help me.
erhmm, considering they ganged up on you, this statement is where it went wrong. if you pla faa this is what happens when you don't keep ppl happy. or you can do as Siddy, and just get lots and lots of lvl 6 marzas and lol at the AI's dead fleets. P.S the 2'nd mini expansion will flesh
How much did you pay stardok...................................................... if that is 0, then why should they support you??????? /facepalm You're changing the subject. This is about whether or not I paid money for the game (I did), and not about whether or not Stardock should provide support.
can i call him stupied/retarded now?
pot kettle
you mean MARZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA? to the OP what are you talking about???
What would a good defensive fleet look like?
The holy trinity of caps (150 supply) 4 disiples (16 supply) 4 guardians (28 supply) 4 crusaders (40 supply) 6 dominas (24 supply) 8 carries (160 supply) total -- 419 supply this along with repair bays / hangers / am recharger will deal with anything the AI will throw at you until you get reinforcements in( 90% of the time it
Let's leave the name calling out of this.
it was meant mostly as a joke post, as im 99% sure this is a troll. that said... At some point you have to start calling a spade for a spade and a fool for a fool. calling somebody XXXX is only insulting if it is clearly wrong( calling ppl that belive in a God delusional is not insulting until they prove he exsists, and a person with 50 IQ is stupied) case in point, the OP has demons
I am paying money and thus not free-loading. Where the money ends up is of no consequence.
How much did you pay stardok...................................................... if that is 0, then why should they support you??????? /facepalm anyway, witha name like Epiclulz and an aperent inabillity to make an argument a kindergarden teatcher would accept. I'm faiirly confident this is eithe
This is hardly fair. I mean, sure, you don't want your precious star bases blown up because somebody rushed super-weapons, but you don't want to remove super weapons from the game either (except Tec's because theirs is awesome: 2 of them focus fire on a planet, and the planet doesn't exist anymore *thumbs up*).
superweapons are bad in all games where theyare implemented. get rid of them imo
Maybe it's all about getting the battle ball rolling? In other words, keeping the main fleet alive so it can grow. Sins seems to be unusually defensive game, but the exception is you have to use the main fleet for attacking - defending in multiple spots would just waste your time in movement.
well you are asking for beginer advice, it can be done way faster. But winning a game in 30min is not fun imo, but if you want just sccoutrush him --------</
ay, just DL the demo and see if it works or not
I tried to run the patch availble on Impulse, but it says i do not have a valid cd key. The key that the system has saved is incorrect, it does not match the one in my box. Is there a way to correct this?
email the suport crew
I am having major issues with installation. I purchased, then installed the base game, then installed the expansion pack and now nothing works. I uninstalled everything and now reinstalling without
btw seems you where using 1.1 when you updated? you need 1.12 before u update
tbh i think they should add a setting more thancurrently beginer -50% easy - 75% normal - 100% hard - 125% (this is a bit easier than now) unfair - 150%(but let it rise 10% for each win and -10% when you loose- best if remembered on a map basis) this will make the learning curve less steep but allow for unlimeted skill and sets are pretty fun goal in SP to see how high you can go ( AMG 9 AI's at 800% beat that mahah
I'm just a little worried, maybe for nothing, but at one time I could happily recommend SoaSE as the strategy game to have, the one thats really worth its buck's. These days Its not quite so simple.
thou' good point, the counter argument is. Have a game come out that offer better gameplay(remember to include improvememts in sin due to patches) imo thoose big blockbusters are all pretty much fail as the main focus is pretty b
first, chek out the strategy forum, there are a ffew threads going about this atm -------- The following takes place in the first 5 sec of the game -------- Build a capship factory sell 100 metal buy planetary upgrade build a crystal extraktor( getting it first is about 30 sec extra crystal incomr good at the beginning) build 2 x metal extraxtors queue up the capship of your choice(colonizer
Fuck, do Stardock fanboys inhabit some alternate universe where up is down and night is day?
to bad you feel that way, but as you can see the ggeneral concensus is that IC/SD are doing a pretty good job and i doubt this post will have much(read none what so ever) impact on the way they do this. If you truly feel that strongly about it i sugest you exersize your right to not buy their products from now on. &nbs
turn down your settings thatshould fix the problem
seems to be growing slowly, imo theres enough now that our resident [e digicons]:ninja:[/e] should edit the OP OP - original poster
