1) What does this auto-fleet ability do? I have enabled it on ships but can't figure out what it is doing. I was hoping that they would join one of my "ctl" groups but that doesn't seem to be the case.
fleets move as 1 unit in battle ctrl grps are just for moving around the map you can have multiple fleets in 1 ctrl grp
2) Is there a way to have ships that are built in a certain factory to be automatically s
Kruppe
afaik it is fixed in 1.12
How do I counter a fleet like this?

get 3 caps ... radience - mothership - rapture learn to use them: animosity -> vengance -> malice -> shield restore will decimate an AI controlled fleet
as soon as you have theese 3 up + guardians and some dominas you should be able to kill an AI fleet ( will take a loooong time) adding more ships will just make it go faster p.
/agree thoy' they should add Metalica's - One - in the x-pack [e digicons]:')[/e]
offence is the best defence, but i don't play singleplayer to rush. more fun to have *a fully oparational battle station* /chough fleet that said, as you yourself pointed out repair bays are great. in defence with culture and repair bays you should be able to last indefinently against fleets x2 your size and yes remember to get PLI's up, letting him escape is stupied your capships need the xp [e digicons]:')[/e] and be smarter about when you
Read it again, I said that when the reseller sells the game, they contact SD and they have to pay them a fee for reselling the game to the new owner.
ahh mybad, anyway 'you' can alraeaddy buy a serial at reduced price
but I do feel that they should make patches freely available.
why?
Anyway the moral of the story is that if someone wants to sell their game second hand, then they can sell the copy but notify Stardock that they have sold the game and you can transfer the serial at a cost to the seller, this way they get something, you get something, and the receiver is happy.
what does stardok get out of this? &
Perhaps i was to fast and there's a way to download the german patch. But as far as i know the official german patch for SoaSE can be downloaded via Impulse. It would be nice for the future if Impulse checks the language of the game before the update, so that it than can use the right patch.
ironclad/stardok was not supposed to update the non english versions. But apperently some newb company skiped on their deal so they are picking up the slack, be patie
hey im not ewul, just a wannabe funny man [e digicons][/e]
That makes it much less intresting especially as one cant resell the game after like with other games
it's a free world and if you don't wanna pay ----- don't as for more and more linux users, so what they are still a marginal % of the market and expecting a company to develop to suport both that and windows is foolish for atleast a few more years and btw the games that fall in price are ... wait for it
What is this "support" that people keep talking about? I am simply expecting to be able to update the game.
lol then pay them, insted of think you can get a free ride, i'm did not pay full price so you can update
There's this revolutionary technology called copy protection. Not sure if you've heard of it, but it's pretty cool.
name one copy prection that works, there is a reason it funtions as it does.
<
Try selling 200 metal and buyin 200 crystal right away. Vas should have lots of LRMs. Each 5% of phase missile phasing is like an 8% damage increase. This means Vas LRMS > All.
this is only for vasari, and it is debated wether 100 or 200 is best
But why would that be better than, say, a Kol Battleship, which can tank and knock things out of the sky (but doesn't have quite the Marza's DPS).
you get missile barage quicker the kol's flak burst is not a lvl 6 abillity, but ay a kol first would work aswell
...and what the heck is the space egg? And what should Vasari go with first (and for what reasons)?
The Almighty Space Egg, is the vasari colon
RR- restroom or take a look at this. www.smouch.net/lol/, you just got rick rolled
hehe did i get you?
open impulse, top left corner -> right clik the blue/white stardok icon -->show pre-release
A/ the following takes place in the first 5sec-> build capship factory sell 100 metal upgeade planetary infrastruckture build a crystal exstrator build 2 metal exstrators que your capship of choice ---- for tec concidder a marza as first cap, the tec colonizer cap is poo for advent The Space Egg ---- when built you *can* choose to sell your capship factory (i don't)
for the record, try single system maps, it seems better able to handle them than multistar maps
hmm, is there diff recording menu's( like map sizes are not shown all toghter) if not i dunno what's up
turn on autorecording [e digicons][/e]
1'st there seems to be problems with replaying a 1.05 if upgraded to 1.1 etc etc 2'nd you need to open the game and view recordings throu that. if that was not enough be a bit more detailed as to what you're trying to do
