Couple of questions for Modelers: 1. Would it be possible to take some of the Borg ship textures, from the texture sheet from the Borg Tactical cube and paste them on to the Cylon base star texture sheet to show that the assimilation process is taking place, but not yet fully complete? 2. To everyone who's interested. I've got the 4th & 6th Sci-fi races in now. 4th is Battlefleet Gothic and the 6th is Babylon 5. Meshes & textures, with some button & race pictures. Most of the string file corresponds aswell. Didnt think i could do it, until myfisto gave me the Entrenchment reference files. Nice one dude, id give you Karma if i knew how to do it. Going to work on shield meshes, hud icons, music and audio. At some point i will have to learn about particles, buffs & abilities. I
Myfisto, ok i think ive got that. I still don't know how you go from notepad++ and alter the files you want. I typed in HUDICON which gave 802 hits. Hey Russ, I'm using your Races mod for the base. Race 1-Empire, Race 2-Starfleet & Race 3-SGC. Is it possible to replace the Tec, Advent and Vasari with even more Sci fi races? It would be interesting with Babylon 5, Galactica & Battlefleet gothic, which covers most of the popular Sci fi.
@Hausser0815, i never intended to do the mod myself. i thought it impossible for me to do it with my lack of computing skills.
