Well, pretty much every company would send you back a very promising sounding e-mail, but with Ironclad you might actually receive a 2nd one with the actual fix for it [e digicons]^_^[/e]
Azrak_Navarion
True, but that's sort of different from the issue of smurfs I was originally talking about [e digicons]^_^[/e] At least it wouldn't fix the problem that most people smurf intentionally and not just to let their siblings/partners play or change their clan. Nontheless another good suggestion
Well, for one thing there are more than enough smurfs around with enough games for that. Aside of that it wouldn't fix the problem but rather enable those who've already established themselves online (i.e. they got friends there) to circumvent it. Is it so hard to understand that I want that issue fixed just because it is wrong?
There's a lot of micromanagement to be done. Putting ships with multiple weapon banks into the middle of a fight, microing strikecraft to hold position close to LRMs/Caps you want to destroy (fighters against LRMs, bombers against Caps ofc), microing your support-cruiser for better efficiency (i.e. repulse/shield projection, sabotage bots of hoshis, nano armor/distortion field, etc etc) and of course your cap ship abilities.
Just limit the max. player to 2-3 but what is so hard about showing the account name behind the smurf name? At least that way you could keep track of smurfs. I'm really pissed about smurfing. I'm pissed when I get smurfed (like anyone, I guess), but I'm pissed when my team is smurfing as well and stomping the other one into oblivion. Yes, getting a game going with a tag can be hard at times, tell me about it. But that's no excuse for that bs. And since the community in its whole isn't mature
Look out for Azrak or [_]-Azrak when you're online. Checking the sticky regarding strategies/counters in the Strategy forum would help as well.
I'm afraid of everyone, it keeps you on the edge, focussed and what's even more important: alive [e digicons]^_^[/e]
Okay, so, here's the deal...be it people who fake other people, people who stack teams by hiding their true identity or the fact that there is no way in hell to be sure of who is who, smurfs/multiple nicknames are a huge problem in this community. Personally, I fail to see the need for multiple nicknames. All it does is giving people the chance to dodge the consequences of their behaviour. I can't even begin to imagine the reason that made IC implement this feature anyway and miss out on cruc
I've seen it, and you are in no position to complain about anything concerning the multiplayer community, Proletari. You are on of the "bad guys" in it, as far as I'm concerned.
Just don't let anyone named Sunny (or Proletari for that matter)into your games anymore. We will personally vouch for each of the present members if a 'real' clan game should come up.
Fighters never ever should be a real problem at the moment. Flak kill them really fast, faster than they kill a similar amount of LRFs, hold position or not. I agree with the others that making a ship hold position in space is far from "bugged", and by microing various support cruisers, illums, capships etc. you can easily increase their efficiency as well. So why shouldn't the same apply to fighters? Aside of that, regarding the miss penalty on SC: is
I guess you are one of the few who's never seen the flipside of the coin, then. Personally I've rarely seen the good side [e digicons]^_^[/e] Still, wouldn't do any good to trashtalk about him now, will it? And yeah, he joined DU.
Well, posting replays and making failures public ain't exactly the right way to deal with stuff like that, if you're asking me..I've been in the game with JJ and I've already decided the consequences of that for me. Just do the same. Ruining his reputation won't do you any good either.
Just stand above it then, otherwise you're just proving their point. Because giving in to taunting and stupid accusations definitely doesn't put you in a good light.
So you want to prove that you guys aren't a horrible clan by bragging with victories and threatening to throw mud at others? Seriously, we should stop being so hateful of each other and start to get some friendly comeptition up. I enjoy playing with some of you, like Krath or Atrophe to name some, and I don't hold a serious grudge against anyone of you. And I'd dare to say that most BiA feel the same way. So mind if we all stop acting childish here, you guys keep proving yourselves (
Yeah, why would they want to warn the online community about it anyway...it's not like we're frustrated enough about loads of issues and DCs, so we might as well get booted for good [e digicons]^_^[/e]
Maybe you should follow the advice you've gotten and email ?
Just got dc'ed from a game (nothing unusual, sadly). Weird thing is: I can't login now. Whenever I try to I immediately get "Diconnected from Ironclad Online". Anything wrong at my end or is it ICO being gone for good this time?
You can't watch games, all you could do is browse for replays or just play the games and watch the replays afterwards. Latency is basically the time it take for data to travel from/to your pc to/from the host.
If you can't log into your router interface there is no way you're ever gonna succeed in forwarding any ports, because most likely your router is blocking those. And what exactly is the problem with portforward.com? Used it myself back when I was new to that stuff. You can just search for your specific router AND game and it will literally show you pictures of how to do that, step by step. So either you're being more detailled on what exactly is going wrong at the moment or noone here will be
So...more than a week has passed all that free time you got at work has provided a detailed 1-line-review of a single player. Impressive [e digicons]^_^[/e]
I doubt that a Starbase costing around 3k credits, not to mention the resources, (and that's without upgrades) would make tradeports or frigate factories obsolete. TEC are meant to have the strongest econ, and being able to downgrade starbases wouldn't help them any more than it does for the other races. The idea is good, but it would have to be tested, I guess.
You've got to have one hell of a fancy cursor animation to cause a lag [e digicons]^_^[/e] Nah, seriously, try sending an email to if noone's got an idea here.
