The Vasari became masters of phase space because they thought Chuck Norris couldn't reach phase space. Chuck Norris simply round-house kicked phase space hard enough to produce PJIs.
When you select your capital ship, click on the little button above the picture of the capital ship. It should bring up a little box allowing you to rename it.
Change voices ("We are listening"- Echo'n girl to "Standing by"- Single male voice)
Voice changing should be pretty easy. You'll need a computer microphone and probably a file converter to change the output file into a .ogg. Then you just have to rename the files in order to replace them. I'm actually going to start doing some voice changes, so once I actually get to it, hopefully I'll help a bit better. And don

Just having it going for a few seconds can shift the balance of a fleet by causing damage to the fleet. And it is still hard to notice so if you miss it, BOOM bye bye fleet
I don't mean that Missile Barrage will fall out of use, but I'm thinking that less TEC players will be using Marza as much, because of more reliable counters now and other viable strategies are availa
Looking back at TEC, I just noticed that the Marza will probably not be used nearly as much as it does now. Especially since now every faction can cancel Missile Barrage (Even Vasari- now that the Antorak will become a very viable capital ship), and otherwise is used for its Raze Planet. It's looking more like the Dunov and Akkan will become the ideal starter TEC captials, and of course Kol+Dunov pairs could become devastating. ^_^ And when Marzas are built, I'm feeling that the main reason w
Let's think about the prehistory of the Trade Order. As we know from the manual, the Trade Order was founded some 1000 years ago after some sort of ancient war. What could of brought the likely systems of warring nations to a standstill? What I'm thinking is that the Trade Order came into existance directly because of the great wars of anquity. For what we know, these wars brought enormous devastation to the planets and people. This is why multiple religious groups, including the orig

Repair cloud is one of the game's strongest abilities, easily a match (if not the superior) of the legendary shield restore ability. I'd rather save my antimatter for that. Scramble bombers has to become "teh shit" to actually compete with it for precious antimatter reserves, much in the same way malice must compete with shield restore.
Scramble Bo

However, test after test said otherwise, despite our math. In one test sample that we ran over and over again, 102 Kodiaks vs 170 Illums (equal food comparison) the Illums actually beat the Kodiaks. When we updated the targetting and Kodiak ranges the Kodiaks defeated them handidly and were consistantly within error of the value we expe
I am incredibly happy that the Sova Carrier and Akkan are getting buffed. Really, this just made my day. Once this update comes, I'm going to resume building my beloved Sova, Titania. ...Though this is a bit odd, but no changes to the Illuminator? I'm certain that the Guardian's overall weakening will in turn damage Illums, but still... Regardless, I'm
I love TVtropes. Spent endless hours just looking through tropes. ^_^ Gotta make an account to this wonderful site.
Sins of a Solar Empire is easily one of the best games of the past number of years, and definately the best I have ever. It's extremely addictive, and the sheer epic feel makes this game a must-play if you like RTS games. Entrenchment further improves it, too. ^_^ Otherwise, the first two Age of Empires games should definately be played, and both can be purchased for only ten dollars! This two games have to be added to any list, due to their sheer entertainment longevity. I was playin
I have enormous doubts that this could actually bring down capitalism. As long as there is a demand for something, people will find a way to produce and sell it competatively. Actually, I'd think it'd only change the market- from demand for small manufactured goods to more raw materials, for example.
I watched this, and must say that your side's victory was fantastic. ^_^ Of course, having Ferdie and his dual Marzas is always an enormous benefit to a team. But looking at the replay, the winning side coordinated their attacks far better. Of course, I have a feeling that if Sgt Major used his fleet to attack Chiken's worlds, that his side would of lost. I found it extremely strange that Major had a big, poweful fleet, but just camped it on Ferdie's homeworld as his Progen slowely bo

Starting out with 2 SC, that's .8 SC per level (rounded down). So, it works out such that at level: 2.8 (2) SC 3.6 (3) SC 4.4 (4) SC 5.2 (5) SC 6.0 (6) SC 6.8 (6) SC

Right now you're buying Sova just for embargo, if you get a solid package with embargo then that's another matter entirely.
Exactly. Culture spreads faster when it goes through fewer phase lanes, so a chock-point area will spread culture to another planet far faster. However, areas with multiple phase lanes are also a good choice, because they will affect more planets. I'd recommend finding a 'central' planet that extends to many of your planets for culture centers.

It is also possible that they survive by turning other races into themselves (although kinda creepy...). It is also just as plausible that they do have females that perhaps give birth very rarely. This would make the life of each Vasari especially valuable and would cause the Vasari to bar females from entering mil
