I play TEC mostly and am fairly new to the game.. I took over a planet but there was a starbase there (Advent I believe). I attampeted to launch a large force to take it out including 1 Kol and 1 Marza Cap and a large mix of other ships with aircraft. The starbase seems to just pump out aircraft. made a frigat factory and pumped out some flak but didn't see to help. The starbase was taking damage but my caps were taking more. I see Siege frigates are used to bomb plane

I was playing yesterday and noticed when I moused over my Cap ship (KOL), it said I had 2 unspent points. Can someone please explain: 1. What these points are 2. How did I get them 3. How do I spend them and 4. What do i spend them on? Thanks in advance..

Are you all sure about that? I mean it just doesn't sound right.. Assuming it does not get removed off the friends system, he/she can play it at home single player without having to pay for it.. Just doesn't sound right

EQ2 had a pretty bad memory leak.. Here is what I did to help with it (Not sure about vista as I use XP: Start/right click My Comp/select properties/advanced tab/under performance select settings/then Advanced tab/under memory usage select "System Cache" Not sure how to accomplish that in vista but I am sure there is a way.. Also, when I upgraded to 2 GB of ram, I set my virtual memory to 0 (Disabled it) and that reduced alot of the hard drive accessing that was causin

This is just a curiosity thing but why have SoaSE and Entrencment on the same menu.. Most all games I have played when there was an expansion, I would click the same start game button as normal meaning the expansion was adding content to the original/same game I have been playing all along. Here it seems there are two different games we have the option to play.. The original SoaSE AND Entrenchment.. I was playing the original game even after getting entrenchment not realizing

Hi.. I am new to the game, downloaded Entrenchment and have been playing only single player in an attempt to get familiar with the game.. I have played for a few days now but don't see the option to create starbases anywhere.. I have looked in the achievements area and clicked everything that can build stuff but don't even see the starbases grey'd out.. Should I see them somewhere right from the start (Like frigates etc..) This game reminds me of Total Annihilation RTS but based in space.. Haven't played an RTS in quite a few years but I loved TA and now this game has my full attention. Great job guys!!!
