That happened to me the first time I loading Diplomacy, but not over and over.

Just a few I hope you guys know the answers to. 1. Is there a way to have pirates randomly attack any player's planets constantly? 2. Why doesn't "InGameName" when creating players in Galaxy Forge work? It simply seems to use the normal random names in-game. 3. Anybody have any idea how I can get the thing working? GalaxyForge works just fine, but ParticleForge crashes with the typical "...encountered a problem and needs to close..." Windows message.
Yeah, I'm just asking here because Particle Forge refuses to run on my computer.
Regarding your ideas about defences... meh. A big orbital cannon doesn't shouldn't and wouldn't stand much of a chance against a group of ships. However, when it comes to transferring binary files to text files and back again (the alien-looking code isn't code at all, it's Notepad's interpretation of binary, which it can't interpret). I want to use (just for personal fun) the TEC planet bombing and missile effects from this mod: https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/368651/page/1/ On their own. What files would I need from it? Just using the Weapon_TechFrigate_BombingHit (or whatever it's called) PARTICLE files, for example, work but also make weird looking white squares show up along with the normal effect, so I guess I'm missing something. <p

If you want my feedback on this mod: It's pretty cool. I really like some of the effects and others, not so much. For example, all the planet bombing and missile effects are awesome, but most of the others, in my opinion, make the game look like a space-battle-shaped Christmas tree. [e digicons]:P[/e]
Well. As usual, something's gone wrong with the thing. This time, when I'm updating the mod and it reaches around file 244 or something it says "not responding" (but I figured it was done anyways cause the "exit" button was no longer grayed-out, so I ended the process). I also updated the manifests, but to no avail, because the mod is now giving me minidumps when I try to activate it. What's the matter, you think?
