Again, another simple question. I want to make it so that the orbital shield structure for the TEC will grant a (Small) shield increase to the structures in the gravity well. Is this even possible? If so, what's the modifier?

Basically, just what the title says- I'm looking to change abilities, such as Armistice, so that they affect the entire gravity well instead of just a range. I know this is probably a basic question, but for the life of me I really can't figure it out. Advice, anyone? :)
Correction. After uninstall-reinstall, the AI will send Diplomatic vessels. To eachother. Not me.
Going to try a complete reinstall. I had a mod (Simple personal-preference rebalance.) but turning it off did nothing
Personally, I'm just not into multiplayer because getting people I can enjoy playing against for several hours together, getting everyone to agree and setting up a game is a pain sometimes. That's all. The AI is never too busy, and won't lag out.

Simply put, that. I can't get the AI to use a single diplomatic ship, permanently locking me at "HATED" relationships on their end. Until someone tells me a fix, how do I go back to original.
So, all I did was update to the latest Diplomacy. Now, for no apparent reason, the AI will never send a single diplomatic ship into my space, even when I've maxed my relationship with them (I've offered every pact,) I won't get a single pact in return. In fact, in even 2+ hour games, I NEVER see a diplomatic ship not in my colors! ...Is something broken? Cos it's really sucking that I can't use the thing that... honestly... this entire expansion is built around.<
That's dust and stuff- will that change the actual number of asteroids? For instance, an 'asteroid belt' will have one or to chunks of something there. I want maybe... ten or so.
After a major hiatus I've returned to modding, and one thing is standing out and bugging me- the asteroid belt and space junk entities. They honestly look like someone just threw a few tiny textures into them at the last minute and left. Is there a way to put a _LOT_ more debris in the space junk and a lot more asteroid... er... chunks (No formal name I can think of.) In the asteroid field? I mean, the ability "Erratic Debris" only makes sense, for instance, if there's DEBRIS.

Great, here comes an error message. Entity 'SquadTechMine' can't support abilities that single target and ability:0 'AbilitySuicideFighter' has a singleTarget buffInstantActionType Guess that's it then, can't be done. =(
okay, I tried to just drop that -specific- ability in and it doesn't even show up > edit: Testing new version. Forgot about the research requirements.
that's a surprisingly good idea, maybe I can tear that ability out....

Okay, I found the 'Squad" entity and tried to just test it by dropping in the "Mine" detonation ability from TEC in place of the advent deploy ability. now Dev. Entrenchment just crashes without any explanation.
I've tried to copy the mine-fighter from the Advent to figure out how to do it, to no avail- there's no 'ability.'
Simply put, I'm tinkering with the idea of using the 'Entry vehicle' mesh for the Arcova's probe to make a third fighter class unit that's simply an explosive drone payload attached to an engine. I've figured the easiest way to do it would be to give the fighter a certain ability that'd make it blow up and damage the target. But: is it even possible to give an ability like that to a fighter?
Huh, guess that it wasn't me then. Maybe it's just time to pump up the difficulty :D
