Hello all. I extended the range of the Argonev star base some. However, now the 'initial' weapons- the crimson lasers- don't match up. They fire well ahead or behind their target. With the other starbases, the "Weapons lag" isn't noticeable. But on the Argonev, it shows up HARD. How do I correct this?
The game runs GREAT, for about the first five planets. Slowly my framerate drops from approximately the "50" range to the "20." Still playable, but a touch sluggish. I can deal with that- then it drops into the 14.. and the 9 or lower. I'm running a quad core (3.4) system with four gigs of ram, and an NVidia 9800. This SHOULD not happen. Is something wrong with my computer or my game?
See, his mod- At least his 'Titan" meshes, from those pics? The TEC one just... doesn't fit well. to me. Gah, what tools do I need to try and figure this out for myself? x.x
Sadly, there is no updated version. He seems to have vanished. [e digicons]X([/e] And 'cos I have the Stardock version, I can't uninstall sims, go back, and install without the patches. [e digicons]:'([/e]
I'm still tinkering with abilities- and I wonder. Is it possible to take something like the Akkan Battlecruiser's Ion Bolt- Where it takes longer to 'restore' some systems than others? As in, the engines come online first, then the weapons, then after a delay, abilites? Or does the game architecture say no?

Oh, I th ought Last Stand was Total conversion. And I tried to 'learn the skills,' the modeling tutorial/tools link is broken. =P I don't know where else to start.
Man. Thing is, Last Stand and SOGE are total conversions! =( I just want a supership for TEC, Advent and Vasari. XD
I know I don't have anywhere near the skills to do it myself- but why can't I find a mod that just adds one massive, Titan-Class capship to each faction? I'm thinking something with extreme offensive capabilites but extremely high cost, high fleet useage and high resource cost. Probably unlocked by some kind of joint research from both level 8 Noncombat and level 8 Combat research tress. So. er. Does anyone know of a mod like this, since I can't find it? Or. yan

Woah, it's only ten bucks? I was under the impression that somehow it was more in the "Sixty" range. That probably was the bundle. x.x Anway, once I get the contents of my wallet replaced (Yay robbery!) I'll look into it ;)
Thanks again. :) My next step is to use what I learned here to use the 'knockback' that the Advent carrier has to push both frigates (and cruisers) AND fighters away from -their- base. Still not sure what to give the Vasari- I rarely play them. THank you SO MUCH! :D

Okay, thanks. :) As it is I'm trying to run this mod, single- it's how I test all my mods. (As I said, most were just spec tweaks. But.) Wait, isn't entrench on 1.051 by now? o.o
Ah, thank you. I tend to prefer the "tactical" side to things, rather than the diplomatic. :) Chancesare I might not get this expansion. Not for a while, at least :)
It still minidumps for me. =( Even without the antimatter. What am I doing wrong? =( edit: Er, minidumps when I have the Raloz begin to deploy.

Also, will the nameStringID "" descStringID "" hudIcon "" smallHudIcon "" infoCardIcon "" at the end of the ABility cause a problem? And is the failure related to the fact that there's no buff coded? x.x
