I thought this was a thread about balance not about the physics and dimensions of the TEC rebel titan.

The balancing in its current state to be frank is crap and everything is broke. I personally have no clue as how to fix any of this. IDK if any of the other guys on ICO have a clue. Let's go through the number of problems. 1. Corvettes Beta 1 (beginning) - Okay they were a bit useless but at least they didn't go screwing up balancing everywhere for everything Beta 2 and 3 - These are blantantly screwing up with any early game.
They said this week never said what day. Probably Thursday if not today.

I mean, I get that he's the lord of evil and stuff, but really, what's he going to do against a kilometer long frigate with guns that deals almost a hundred megatons of destruction every second and has both shields and hull designed to withstand that kind of punishement? Let alone an entire fleet of th

That would make the TEC way overpowerful then. If I could just build an SB and suddenly have factories up and running at a neutral gravity well that isn't even an SB. That means you can station yourself anywhere which is really overpowering. The TEC are already the best race. No need to give them such a buff.
Did you research the pirate truce? You can also research a tech for free pirate ships as well.

The Vasari taking forever to be released has not been helpful to people expecting something more than a new big ship and a bit larger fighter aka corvette. The 5-10 new techs are cool, but in al

1. The desyncs are still there but not as bad as the originals I assume. I havn't had one myself yet. It seems to be a person's internet issue or server unsure of it. Stardock is trying to get as many files in as possible on this. 2. Titans are not as OP as you may think. They get really powerful if you start feeding them levels as it should. You can still win against a titan without building one if you can spam out the heavy cruisers and/or bombers before it levels
The main strategies based on spam one unit type, and build by enemy units for anti spam. Mixed units type are not effective. And what i said, still, Titans are too powerful. Still are no unit able to destroy titan for players who decide to play without titan in own fleet. Why devs don't put to game CAP ship arm with torpedoes or make orgovs torpedose against titans but less destroyable.
Bombers kill a Titan like it is paper.<
I agree with everything that Mecha has stated here.
that you could make corvettes be unable to attack structures at all and their anti capital ship damage to be very low.
I wouldn't say make them unable but at least make it so they do very little damage to them like capital ships.
Judging from the pretty bad balancing that's been going on here though probably since none of the actually core competitive MP guys don't actually do a whole lot of posting here which the exception of Quar and Mecha and maybe Greg from time to time. We don't get posts from Hiro, Krath, or any of those people. Anyone want to collaborate and create a large thread just for the balance of the game?
Don't act like you're the first person to build Corsev, Rover.
Of course not. I did mention Quar before me. I've just never seen the Corsev used at all really.
oh and anyone who thought that giving AoE dmg and passive tanking ability on a TEC ship (high hp, crazy good repair platforms) is good idea needs to pull head out of his ass.[/quote
Well in short. Balance is out of wack. ICO needs to get together and try out new strategies and stuff because there is a lot that could be possibly be exploitable to just being OP.
So after Quar absolutely killed Mecha with a Corsev as starting cap. I decided to go ahead and use one as a starting cap against Mecha who was also using it as a starting cap. Dear god... demolition team... So we were fighting over a neutral well and this what happens. We bring in our frigate fleets. Send a ship into the middle of the pack and use demolition team to take off at least their shields. Oh crap run to your own well. Nvm demolition team kill half the
Problem is that even if it were "balanced" the double carrier combo that used to be so common would still win over the battleship combo since the carrier can kite while letting bombers do the work even with anti-SC ablities your battleships will run out of AM eventually regardless of balance changes and carrier caps don't need any AM to use their SCs.
Hmm... I don't have a dev.exe in my files.

Like I said, I really needed to establish a second, small force to go out and acquire those. They work as well as the extractors at your capital so having them is a big bonus.

Yes, the Radiance has DAM, and yes, the Kol has FB, but that's about it aside raw damage or damage reduction. Idk about the Ko
