As Anthony noted on the thread, his checkin was taken out of context. We're aware that it's not actually fixed and he's back to figuring that one out ;)

Farming comes after the tech that grants gardens. Apiaries and Orchards have always been fairly rare techs though (there's only a small chance they'll be an option on a breakthrough).
I don't believe the item shop is intended to require any particular improvements to access.
Not all of the talents are implemented yet.
Not all of them are implemented yet, though Organized should be as of this build (note that the stack won't update back to the sovereign's move speed until the turn after you join units into it).
In the future, if you can't use pastebin please use dropbox or another host that allows a direct link and does not require a timer/captcha.
Please post debug.err files via pastebin or dropbox. Posting them inline can make the thread hard to read (and actually breaks it entirely in Firefox if it's a very long one). Also make sure to get the entire file when doing this (the top is missing from this one).
[edit] It seems there is some special requirement for Granaries (not sure what.)
Granaries require one of the four-tile food improvements (farm, apiary, etc).
Was a dump file generated by the crash?
Do you have a save (auto or otherwise) that can reproduce this?
If you're getting a white map screen, try disabling antialiasing and/or advanced lighting. Your debug.err file indicating driver versions and such may be helpful in finding the cause, in any case.
Please provide more detail about what sort of graphic issues you're seeing (screenshots, etc) and which options you're disabling to remove them. Solving those problems would be a much better solution than disabling the functions :)
Alright so I found the debug.err file but I have nowhere to upload it (as I remember that we should not upload it to sites like rapidshare etc). It is only 4 kb, is it possible that I can mail to some of you guys at stardock?
As noted in the sticky, you can post it via pastebin or dropbox (or any site that allows it to be viewed directly without limits, timers, or speedbumps).
Try manually setting the game to windowed mode (fullscreen=0) in the Prefs.ini file under My Documents\My Games\Elemental. Some users with this issue found that to solve it in the previous build.
Please include the debug.err, dump file (if any), and a savegame (if the crash can be reproduced from it) when reporting a crash, as noted in the reporting guide.
Please post a dxdiag report. You can do so by: Click Start->Run-> type in dxdiag and click OK. Once it finishes, click the Save All button, give it a name, then open that file up in Notepad, copy+paste everything to pastebin.com or similar, and post the link here (please do not paste the report directly here as very long texts like that can make the page difficult to read).
Go to My Documents\My Games\GalCiv2 (or the DA/TA folders as appropriate), open the file prefs.ini, and make the following changes: Change DisplayWidth=1024 DisplayHeight=768 ColorDepth=32 Fullscreen=1 To DisplayWidth=(Your desktop width) DisplayHeight=(Your desktop height) ColorDepth=32 Fullscreen=0 Then save the file and start the game. It'd also be advisable to update your video drivers.
In the future, please report only one bug per thread. Multi-bug posts make it unnecessarily difficult to summarize and categorize reports for the devs to review. General feedback or suggestions may be collected, though.
No, all boxed direct preorders will be shipped NA retail limited edition boxes from the US.
Locking this thread so people don't continue posting feedback here in confusion. If you have a report or feedback, use the link at the top of the thread to go to the beta forum, and create a new topic there.
Preorders are back on queue as of earlier today. Unless Brad opts to bring in more testers sooner, you can assume your order will be charged and access granted with Beta 3.
If you contact about this they may be able to accommodate you.
Re: forum posts, there are a variety of factors involved. Content, subject, frequency, etc. Personally I'd give most anything on our own forums a lower amount at most--stuff elsewhere on the web will be rewarded more generously. Also, if you report every post you make just to see what sticks, you're going to see a lot of denials. For example, I've posted more than a hundred replies in the past week. If I tried submitting those, I'd probably deny all of them. We're not going to be givi
First post so be gentle
Please make new threads of your own for bug reports--this is just an instructions/info thread.
