If the game crashes while you're online, it never gets to properly log out; subsequent login attempts fail because it thinks you're already logged in. However it should time out within a few minutes and you'll be able to log in again. If it continues to reject your login for more than five or ten minutes after the crash occurred, support should be able to help. Our offices are closed on the weekend, so support should have a response for your ticket today or tomorrow.

Feedback earlier in a build's life is also more useful than scattered reports from latecomers as the internal build will rapidly diverge from the public one as time goes on.

I mean, the point of it is a viral marketing campaign, right?
You started the thread prior to the contest, and there was already one on that forum previously. So while it's good to discuss the game out and about (obviously, since you did get points), most of the people there have probably already heard of it. By contrast, someone out spending time, gas, etc i
PBEM essentially is hotseat, only that you send a savegame to your friend instead of him sitting beside you.
Not really. I expect PBEM would basically be handled as async client-server (manual save handoffs via email would require internet anyway and just adds a cumbersome extra step). You log on, do your turn, toggle ready-up for the turn to advance, and come back later. Once the wrinkles are worked out in that, then we could look into hotseat since a little bit of tha
