Ships shouldnt have healing repair to their hulls until they have not been fired on for atleast a minute. Underfire their hulls should not be repaired.

been thinking, if you could do research on slingshot then whenever entering phase lines from suns and gas giants, ships speed up X2 or X4 that would speed up travailing a lot and speed up the gameplay a bit, as it stands travelling from star to star is really slow That kinda gives me another idea. I would make Gas giants neutral . They would be similar to stars in that they have phaselanes to and from but cannot be owned by anyone.
I think its perfect how caps are vulnerable to bombers. It means you really have to think about making fighters in the cap launch bays. Combined arms is more important too. You have to think about either supporting with flaks or supporting with light carriers.
Being a standalone is good news because it means more people will be buying the game , rather then just people who already have the original

Broadcast towers , could be a passive defence against vasari and advent. I reckon we need to have a look at broadcasts once we have seen what the other races do in terms of the "culture war".

- Retreating ships using the left bar. When ships are selected When mouse overlays the left bar. Please show next to each planet - number of jumps required to get there. This way , I know which planets are one jump away inorder to retreat my ships at a quick flick. Often the only way is to do the "zoom out" way. Thanks!
Its often hard to keep track of upgrading your cap ship abilities. Often its only when I have selected the capship that I realise it has leveled up. Could it be possible to queue up upgrades so that when the capship levels up , it automatically gets its upgrade.
Maybe something targetable by bombers?

Dont underestimate the importance of this. Light Frigates should be renamed to Assault Frigates. The problem with Light Frigates is its name relationship with Heavy frigates. If you have light..where are the heavies?. Heavy frigates ( kodiaks ) replace light frigates in late game.but I believe that the replacement from light frigate to heavy frigate is wrong. It is only right IF both light and heavy frigates are both used during the late game or if you have both units at the
Yea ive noticed this bug. the bug also occurs when you have a spread out bunch of ships in the Sun starsystem and you order them to collect at a position within the grav well. Phaseline waypoints suddenly appear and ships tart to hypersspace away.
What you could do is have the auto cannons be able to shoot fighters. They already can, and do, I think. They're just not very effective at it (which is as it should be). All capships have fighter ports. So if you think theres a bomber threat , just have fighters docked in them.
Ok using the same thread...new suggestions Private Corperations that set up in your system. the idea of private companies is they add a bonus to the overall taxation in a planet. And for the game , add a layer of immersion that your empire is actually living. In every game but only for TEC since they are traders , there are many private corperations, about 20 types in the game , with about 5-6 appearing in your current game. for example. Zubush

Broadcast centers should sporadically be able go send you vital intel like spy structures. the intel comes in the form of news bullutins about other races..such as..# this just in..at 8:30 local time , siege frigates from the playerX began bombardment of playersY planet. The more broadcast centers you have , the more bullitins you will recieve..and maybe you might get more vital intelligence.
The problem with too many slots is the game looses it decision making strategy. With limited slots your forced into thinking which planets will benefit from trade , which will benefit from broadcasts , which need shipyards but more importantly what doest need something , what doesnt need that thing. With more slots...meh just build everything- no decision making , game is decided by click per second ala generic crap RTS. Making too many things creates the "supreme commander eff

I believe that it is Sins biggest headache... the fact that really, this game at its current size of gamefield should be played at a zoomed out view where each fleet is regarded as a "unit" , rather then going into a battl
